The new R-F-T Funkwerk M16 mkII large diaphragm condenser microphone, distributed by Telefunken | USA™, is a low-cost alternative to the Telefunken Platinum and Professional Series microphones which have gained popularity among today's top producers and engineers.The new handmade, multi-pattern R-F-T M16 MkII offers superior sonic performance and mechanical design, while boasting a unqiue voice of its own somewhere between a C12 or U67. The circuit design is based around a custom wound transformer from AMI / TAB Funkenwerk and a GE JAN 6072a tube.

The system comes complete with:

• New circuit design utilizing a custom wound BV314 transformer hand built in the United States. This circuit is designed by Telefunken | USA™ and hand assembled in the United States.
• NOS GE JAN 6072 (same tube used in Telefunken ElaM 251).
• 25-foot Gotham Audio GAC7 cable.
