Welcome to R-F-T Funkwerk, Microphone and Electronics, LLC

The R-F-T product line was created earlier this year to address the needs of broadcasters, Do It Yourself Audio Enthusiasts and the project studio market. Utilizing standardized microphone parts from overseas, with a combination of high quality components made in the United States and NOS tubes, Telefunken was able to launch the cost efficient microphone line R-F-T, while still preserving the legendary Telefunken sound.

In January of 2005, R-F-T released the M16 microphone system. In the summer of 2005, the R-F-T M16 MkII upgrade was introduced, featuring a new custom circuit design similar to a C12 or U67, a custom wound transformer from TAB Funkenwerk,  and GE JAN 6072a tube.

At the October AES 2005 in NYC, R-F-T introduced the new AK47 microphone system. Utilizing an EF732 minature tube, a custom wound transformer and circuit design similar to an M49, the AK47 has been a big hit around the recording community as a original and unique sounding tube microphone.
